For those of you that don't know Jake & Dick are now celebrities, making into nationally published magazine's (Full Pull). If I knew when growing this is how you would turn out I would have treated my neighbors a little better. Grinning Seriously, nice article and May God be with you on your up coming ride.

Ray,

First, I want to thank you for the donation, it means a great deal to my father and I. For those who don’t know, Ray Siuta was my neighbor and best friend until third grade. Ray and I used to go to tractor pulls together with our fathers when we were kids. We lived and breathed pulling in the summer, we even had the toy Stomper Pulling set that we just about wore out (I had a Subaru Brat that almost never got beat!). Ray is probably one of the only people who reads this page who knew my sister Kassidy.

After my parents got divorced we moved away and I didn’t get to see Ray much anymore. I went to a few of Ray’s high school basketball games and then we lost touch for years.

It’s a pretty small world, and in college Ray became friends with Jason Hootman. When I moved back to New York from Colorado I knew Mark Hootman pretty well and eventually Jason and I became friends. One day Ray, who now lives in Georgia came home for a visit and I got to see an old friend again.

Since then Jason has put together an Alcohol Super Stock for Ray from parts Ray had been collecting, and last summer Ray made his first trips down the track. When we were kids I beat Ray at just about everything (he was always smaller and weaker, and man did he cry easy!). But as adults he beat me to having a pulling tractor and a family (he’s also bigger now, but I’m guessing he still cry’s like one of his little girls).

Here’s a video of Ray pulling the Bullseye at a Mid South event last summer:

As for the Fullpull Magazine article… I love sitting with Joe at the NFMS, Joe and Carol are great people and I could sit there for hours on end talking with Joe about pulling and just about everything in life in general, we were happy to be in their magazine.

We did make a few edits to the article, but unfortunately they didn’t make it into the magazine. Mainly we wanted to just thank a few people who have helped us maintain the site and have helped me get a little more involved in the sport. I put our edited version of the article here - Pulloff.com = Pulling Sickness!

I know the Fullpull Magazine is For Sale, but I sure hope to sit with Joe and Carol at the 2010 NFMS pull.

Thanks again for the donation Ray

This page is a free service. The cost is covered out of my pocket. It takes a great deal of time and a fair amount of money to keep this website going. Donations for: photos, classified ads, forum discussion, etc... are appreciated.

Side Note: We are no longer accepting PayPal donations. They have changed their terms of service and stated they would fine PayPal users for spreading "misinformation" and "hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory". PayPal did not provide definitions for some of these vague terms. Woke corporate policies regarding "misinformation" could result in an automatic fine of $2,500 which would have been removed directly from the customer’s PayPal account. PayPal did backdown from some of their policies but quietly implemented portions of them in later terms of service. A financial institute has no right to monitor social media accounts or speech. This is unacceptable and I'll no longer do business with PayPal.
