4430 brake valve question

The 4430 puller has a brake valve issue. We are running a 12v hydraulic pump for the steering and brake systems. Everything has been working good till this last weekend. The brakes are hanging up seems that some pressure is getting by the valve. I assume that the original seals are about at the end of the normal service life ((40 years) And the valve has to be rebuilt. Has anyone had difficulties running a seperate pump? |

We are done with the stock brakes., Seems that they are very slow to release and quite draggy. After a bunch of fiddling, we decided to switch to a axle brake hat with Wilwood calipers. |
