Disc Brake Setup for 1066?
|
Ready Red
|
Thinking about converting the brakes on our 1066 to a disc type setup to get away from the ratchet setup we have now. I found a kit online that includes everything needed for the conversion thats pretty reasonable. Just wondering if anyone has ran this setup before an how well it worked or didn't any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the space eh |

Bought the caliper brackets from atlas, rotors from wipeout and the calipers and masters and lines from jegs. Works very well after you get it bled. Bleeding is a bloody nightmare! |

How much did you have in to the whole setup roughly? Did it work well for you? |

I purchased mine from KENNY's PULLING PARTS and everything worked great with no problems Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 09/25/2015 12:48AM by RED DELIGHT. |

$1200 I believe. Works very well. Went from manual stock brakes to these and it steers much easier with the brakes. No pumping the brakes to make sure they are there. Has about an inch of pedal movement and it's good brake. Highly recommend going to disc. |
