Looking for information on a 656 rearend for a llss. Mainly suppliers of parts including billet differential, cut bull gears, hollow axles, brakes and any covers or tricks to get it as light as possible. Thanks in advance. |

Atlas on the gears. Might as well go on and put in a pro fab too. The 656 trans won't hold. |

I am using a 3 speed atlas trans. Should've mentioned that. |

Have Karl at Atlas make you a set of axles. Just got my new ones from him the other day. They look awesome. The hubs are splined onto the axle shafts. I also have his billet diff and a custom set of bull pinion gears from him. Won't go wrong talking to him. |

I spoke with Karl tonight, and he said he can take care of the axle shafts, the billet differential and bull gears while trimming some weight out of it, and even strengthen it a bit with some strategic bearings and a few more upgrades. |

I'm running a 656 rear, putting out 1883. hp, (dyno numbers). Have never had a problem. |

We have two 656 rears and Trans both are holding up just fine. One is running triple turbos and the other is running two. Both are diesels. |

It is amazing that the 666-656 rear and trans will hold that much power. Both of them are derived from the Farmall H... A testament to how overbuilt things used to be. |
