4010 NA GAS November 10, 2015 01:21PM
Looking to build a 4010 NA gas tractor.... Rules are 540 cu in... What is the best block to start with to accomplish this and what head/block do I need as in do u drill a diesel of spark plugs or find a natural gas head that works... I can get ahold of an 8.1 counterweighted crank out of a super stock tractor that has about 6 runs on it so maybe the 8.1 is the way to go but if a 466 is easier your input is appreciated

If I'm not mistaken, Fritz is the reason the Platteville pull won't allow gas engines. His advice would be worth listening to!
