2 New Classes for Badger State in 2016
|

Super Semis 5 to 7 trucks are committed to Badger State and will be running for points. Krazy KW, Towmater, Sailor boys etc
8500 Light Pro 540 cubes, any turbo. Excited to see this class grow over the next couple years with Badger State. The 4.1 Lim Pro and Light Pro's agreed to help each other out. For Example If the light pro don't have a hook and the 4.1 lim pro do, we voted to let the light pros come and pull with the 4.1 lim pro at 9500, they won't affect the points, but they do get the $. If the 4.1 Lim Pro don't have a Badger hook and the Badger Light Pro's do, a 4.1 can pull with the light pro but must weigh at 8500 lbs, no points, but they do get the $. The 4.1 Lim Pro and Light Pro's will work together until the Light Pro have a full schedule on their own, and it might happen this year, all depends on how the class is booked. That's great! Glad to see the light pro class in and hope it sustains itself. Should be a fun one if it gets rolling |

Great to hear Badger State is offering the Light Pro class! Glad everyone is willing to work together too. There is some great iron in that state... and more to come. |

Glad to see the Super Semi's showed up at the BSTP Meeting last Saturday. Great to hear that the Super Semi's will now have events to hook at in '2016 in the Badger State on the BSTP Schedule. This addition to the available classes list for active, potential, and future BSTP Promotors will only help on put together a great class line-up and event for the pulling fans. |

Do you think Big Jack and the Mother Trucker will be among them? I heard that BSTP is allowing component tube chasis for this state level class even though a PPL Rule prohibits them on the PPL Tours. PPL needs to revise the rule to allow them in all event levels. |

The Light Pros have the edge on HP and the Limited Pros have the edge on torque. Makes for an interesting class. On a good power track the 640s shine and on a poor track the 540s shine. |

Don't know if they will pull or not, but they certainly could and would be allowed. Jason Schultz Call or Text 608 604 5068 Email jason@beermoneypullingteam.com Beer Money Pulling Team Merchandise [beermoneypullingteam.com] |

So if a Lim Pro 4.1 was cubed to 540 they can run both Lim Pro Light and 4.1? Just toss weights...

Same as WTPA. 540 cubes, any turbo, ag chassis etc. We had 6 tractors/drivers/owners at the rules meeting for this class. Doug/Collin Birkholz are moving up from 466 hot farm to 540 Light pro and a few others. One hook per event??
Well that's just stupid. If they want to build numbers or add a class why not let someone who wants to run both set up for it. Makes no sense, If I'm loading up the rig and driving 100 miles to a pull if I can hook two classes I want to hook two. To run all the miles to not be able too seems to go totally against the desire to start a new class up but then allow "Light" and 4.1 to intermingle with a weight variance but only for the cash, why not allow the "Light" to run against the 4.1 for the points and cash too. Just my 2 cents.... Red712 |

No class jumping in Badger State at the same event. It puts on a honest show for the fans and the promoters. Jason Schultz Call or Text 608 604 5068 Email jason@beermoneypullingteam.com Beer Money Pulling Team Merchandise [beermoneypullingteam.com] |

Im not trying to stir things. But I have to ask what you mean by an "Honest show"? back in the day....Prostocks would routinely run against SS because there where times that if you wanted a hook the only way you could get one was moving up in class. So I guess I dont understand why you wouldnt want to have a the possibility of a 540 cube "Light" be able to bump to the 4.1 class if they wanted to get another hook or wanted to compete against them for both points and money. Your there, if both classes are running, why not run both if you can comepete. Understandbly not everyone would...but
Again, not stirring, just asking the question, trying to understand the 1 hook thing. Also, with the numbers moving from the Hot Farm to Light, how is that going to effect that class for numbers at events? Thanks...Red712 |

You are not stirring things, you are asking good questions. The honest show is my personal feeling.comment as a promoter/puller. If I pay to watch a Pro Stock class/show and Super Farms jump into the Pro Stock class, that isn't an honest show. I see your point with the light pro/lim pro but I know Badger State has always been fair if they make a club rule, the whole club follows it. The club decided years ago no class jumping and it has worked very well for Badger state. I am not saying it doesn't work in other parts of the country.
I only know of one for sure going to Light Pro from Hot Farm. Hot farm has strong numbers already. Jason Schultz Call or Text 608 604 5068 Email jason@beermoneypullingteam.com Beer Money Pulling Team Merchandise [beermoneypullingteam.com] |

That's a quality class too, but Outlaws light limited pro is 466 cubes, and a slotted prescision 3x4. |

I don't have my tractor done yet so pointless for me to show up. How many are in the class now. The 2 pulls I seen this year there were only 4 or 5 |

Nothing pointless if you can make the class better. I would like to have heard from someone about why the classes should run together. Rules would have to be changed on both sides |

What are the rules? Are they exact as Badger and or will be they be allowing the diesels to run with them? I knew the chatter had been that the alky light limiteds were looking for a bigger organization to run with. This is good for pulling and now these tractors will have a bigger stage in Wisconsin to run on. But most importantly in my opinion they picked up a great pulling promoter, puller and team with the Spiegelbergs by adding this class.
I saw the entire LLSS class run at the farm show in Decatur alky/dss and was very impressed with alky tractors wheel speed for what they have under the hood. This may help the WTPA book more pulls, as the LLSS is a great state level class. Good luck. I think some people are trying to stir things up between Badger State and WTPA/NTPA on here. This isn''t about competition, this about growing pulling. Personally I think it was great Alan Cook was at the Badger State rules meeting a few weeks back to promote the Light Pro class in Wisconsin. Looking forward to seeing everyone in Gordyville and 2016.
