P3000, P7100 - How can I tell the difference? December 22, 2015 08:03AM
I'm looking at a spare engine I have sitting here in the shop. Trying to figure out which pump is on it, P3000 or P7100?
Thanks!

The bottom of P3000 pumps have a flat steel plate on them.

The bottom of P7100 pumps just have bores with freeze plugs in them.

No way to tell without removing the delivery valve holders.
