Re: Turbo on a 466 January 11, 2016 09:14AM
It all depends on what class and club your going to pull with. Figure that out and check the rules for what they recommend.

Harts has good turbos and FVP has some good stuff too

3x4 if you have the right combination. Just put a harts 3x3 on it and you'll like it

Re: Turbo on a 466 January 12, 2016 02:59AM
at what weight?

also it will depend on who's top of the line engine parts you use. Some build for high rpm which you will need for a big charger. some build for low end torque which will require a smaller charger such as the previously mentioned harts 3x3

We had a CDS billet wheel 4.1 with G trim exhaust on our 441 and spun it without any troubles. I've got a CDS 3.9 billet wheel F trim exhaust that would work good on your 466 also, it's for sale if your interested

Whose fuel system are you going to use? A Harts 3x4 or a 3x3 would be good for higher RPM's but i dont think it would be good to do much bigger then the 3x4. A 4.1 turbo would be a little to big unless your going to add Cubic Inches. Alot of clubs run a 3x3 for 3000 RPM limits.

Re: Turbo on a 466 January 14, 2016 02:31AM
This is a pretty loaded question, because you can go from 3x3 up to a 5.5 inch single turbo no problem. Hp is anywhere from 1200 hp to 3000 hp maybe a little more. So you need to know your class rules, and your budget.

Id like to see a 466 spin a 5.5 turbo!that'd be impressive!
