smoke joke in Louisville February 11, 2016 01:14AM
What a joke the smoke tube was last night. It hasn't been this bad in years. Thankfully we only have super farms tonight. Buy some new tubing you cheap bastards.

Too bad we don't live in a perfect world where nothing ever goes wrong.

You got that right...Indoor pulls are much tougher to do than outdoor pulls..Those gripers need to put a pull on...

Supposed bearing out on 1 of the fans causing too much pressure in the smoke tube. Could have been a much better show for sure. Thought after last year's mess on the first night they would have tried to be on their a game this year.

A brand new tube would have done the same thing. the fan was the problem not the tube. Stuff happens.

Poor sled settings? Hahahahaha the mods and pros couldn't of been any better settings. And the supers had the top iron in pulloff. Lets see you set a sled on a 240 ft track

The tube is just the latest in a number of issues, I'm sure we all agree that indoor pulls are a challenge. The question is why the problems dating back several years, with no changes? If I remember last year there were several major issues, and this year the same thing ON THE FIRST NIGHT. Correct me if I'm wrong but Gordyville has way way more hooks with next to no problems, why not bring in that crew?

What problems date back several years? The smoke tube has worked fine other than the occasional breakage for the past several years. They had sled problems in gordyville this year and had to bring the backup in just like Louisville had to last year so I think that would be a lateral move. The smoke tube itself could be upgraded or brought in but when it normally works fine I doubt you'll be able to sell them on that extra expense.
