Has anyone found any benefits to doing any sort of machining to a stock IH exhaust manifold? Does anyone offer an aftermarket exhaust manifold that would work on a 1200 HP tractor?

Stick with the stock one its hard to beat and dont do anything to it

Put a gasket on each port of the manifold and made sure the manifold matches the gasket. We opened up the ports on the manifold to match the gasket openings and it seemed to help. Sometimes the openings in the head are a little lower than the manifold openings.
