Boost vs exhaust pressure

What is general opinion on what difference between boost and exhaust pressure should be? 10lb? 15? Running consistently about 20 25 difference currently with a 101 exhaust housing. How much closer would it be with something like a 110?

I had 30 difference higher on exhaust side and I kept pushing the intake compressor wheel into the cover. On a Holset 60 with a 27 exhaust housing. I went with a 32 and it is within around 10 and all looks good so far. |

it depends on the size of exhaust wheel versus size of intake wheel. the closer the wheels r in size the more exhaust presure u will have |

The pressure needs to be as close as possible otherwise you will have the same problem as robert. If you are not having this problem then I would stay with your 101 housing if you get too large of housing your going to lose all your low end torque. In my my experience 20 to 25 psi is doing alright. |
