cornhusker classic question March 22, 2016 05:24PM
How fast is the pull down at Lincoln. Is the afternoon session on Saturday a 3 hour show? I have a prior commitment and trying to squeeze the pull in.

It usually runs fairly quick, but there are about 60 hooks scheduled for the afternoon session. Even at 3 min per hook average, it would be close to 3 hours.

Do you know the pull the class order?

The Poster says 8500 Limited pro Stock tractors, 6200 PS 4X4, 3000 rpm 466 Hot farm tractors.. Last year they changed the 6200 PS 4x4 to the end of the show so they wouldn't have to mess with the smoke tube twice. Made since. So they may be first or last in the session.. Great show though.

Looking forward to the event, start with antiques tomorrow and Nebraska Bush on Friday and Saturday. Tomorrow's pull is the 16th year they've been pulling NATPA in Lincoln while this is also the 5th edition of the Nebraska Bush Pullers segment of the show at the Lancaster Event Center.

According to the website they put the gas 4x4 class before the smoker classes this year. The pull order on the website is usually pretty accurate for the event (barring any issues of course).

I certainly hope, if that is true, that they have changed/improved the ventilation, as last year during the 4x4 class they had to open all the doors to let the fumes out. It was getting pretty bad before they did that.
