Will the 6.7 crank swing in a 5.9 block? Is there any difference in the 24valve heads? |

Yes. A 6.7 crank will fit in a 5.9 block. Use factory length rods and custom pistons with different pin height |

24V and common rail 24v are different castings. |

The 5.9 Cummins is 359 cu.in. with a 4.02" bore x 4.72" stroke. The 6.7 is 408 cu.in. with a 4.21 bore and 4.88" stroke. Changing the crank in the 5.9 gives a whopping 369 cu.in. engine (359 x (4.88/4.72)). Really not worth doing for the little increase in the displacement. |

Its perfect for running alcohol in the LLSS class ( 370cu. ) is the limit. |

There's lots of room to bore on a 5.9 block |

How would a 6.7 run with a 2.5 charger at 3000rpm vs. a 5.9 at 3000rpm?
5.9 has hard time turning that size charger at 3000rpm doesn't it? 6.7 be that much better? wondering how they compare? |

Does the 6.7 crank have the same rod and mains as the 5.9? |

I know that we are putting a 6.7 crank in a 5.9 24v and they do. Same bearing part numbers too. |

So I would assume it would fit in a 12v. |
