I've never heard of a 724 before, so I looked it up on tractordata. It is a German built tractor with the 238 German 4-cylinder. All things are possible with enough work, but a 360 is gonna take lots of work! |

886 used either the American D-360, or the German 358. Yes, the 358 is a 6 cylinder version of the engine in that 724. Like I said, with enough time and skill and/or money, anything is possible. But it's not gonna be an easy or direct swap. |

The 724 is almost the same thing as a 674 the 474 3cyl diesle up to the 4cyl 885 ih used the German engines the 310 and the 358 will bolt to the origanal engine plate and the American engines wont without making a plate you cold put a 301 or 282 engine in one by using the engine plate from a 474 gas wich was a 4cyl version of the 301 |
