2WD Tractor Engine Rule? April 27, 2016 07:26AM
Does the rule "engine must be from 2WD tractor" exclusively mean only 2wd tractors, or does it also include MFWDs?

If so, anyone think a 12.4L MAN might run good?

I believe so. Here is the big question; with an engine that big what class could you pull it in?

If only they had produced 500 of them.........

The idea was somewhat sparked by the Pro Stock talk below. If MFWD motors are allowed, then it would be allowed per the rules with a slight decube.

Although after reading between the lines of the PPL rules, it appears the "2wd origin" restriction only applies to replacement blocks. I don't have a copy of NTPA rules due to the fact they charge for them.
