No speed limits this year. |
Re: Darlington, WI July 14 & 16, 2016 - everyone is getting paid
|
agreed
|
it is 100% legal if it is a local or a beer drinking buddy of one of the promoters! otherwise pull where you belong and get beat by those that favor "its not what you know, its who you know!"
Enjoy your pull |

what would you suggest 1 caller wants 6mph some want 10-12 some dont want any limit? so its not fair for a couple opens to dominate but tractors that run 2 hot 2 farm should be able to run farm because of no speed limit, tell us where to draw the lines any civil suggestions welcome |

here is a idea
|
How about a class at 10 or 12 then a class at 18 or 20 then a open class not fair for you guys to have a open class just because your home town boy is afraid to go pull badger state with his 6030 |

Do you have an order of classes being pulled? I will not be able to be there until about 7:30 because of nightly chores. Want to be sure I make it in time for my class. |

I do not have a full line up right now. I can tell you that 10,000 no turbo will start. If I have a pulling order prior to Thursday, I will try to post it. |

10 mph
|
So if there is no speed limit in the farm class what determines what class you pull in? |

Me.... If u pull farm class and everyone is going 12 and u go14 or faster and put 15ft on them your out of here. This isn't my first rodeo |

they will abide by those rules unless one of the locals put 25 ft on everybody, then its ok. pulled there many times and wouldn't waste my time or money |

So what if the first tractor in a farm class goes 8 mph, then the next 10, and the next 12, and the next 14, who gets disqualified? Or what if I'm the first tractor down the track and I go 14 and the rest of the class goes 12? If you are saying that most of the class is going to go a certain speed (not designated) and if you go over this speed then your disqualified, I don't agree with this. If that is how you want to designate the rules then you should just place a 12 or 10 mph speed limit like every other pull. Then all of the classes would be separated accordingly, none of the too hot to farm or open guys would be able to pull in the farmstock because they don't have gearing for it. By saying it is open speed and then posting that it is now restricted to whatever the rest of the class does is not very intuitive. |

So does this mean that Guy Nelsons boys will be pulling in the farm class? We all know that they don't want to pull against any one with moore power and definitely are afraid of taken chances |

Take the Grant County rules and regulations and you have a bread and butter diagram. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 07/12/2016 05:17AM by WyattB. |

no speed limit is no speed limit,-- why say if you go too fast ,--not fair, then make it a 12,14, or some limit chosen before hand,no way is it fair to pick on a participant after the fact. |

Im going to agree in the farm turbo classes to put a speed limit of 10 or 12 on it if you don't you will pry lose future pullers and I do agree fans don't enjoy it but you have to do something and for the 2 hot 2 farm it's easy if you wanna run open speed that's fine you'll get tractors but you need to put no class jumping rule on that if you don't you might as well bring the badger state pro farm guys cause everyone knows there will be a few guys who will try and be glory seekers |
