I just wanted to take a minute and say a heartfelt “THANK YOU” to all of the people that have donated to Jake's “TourdeCure” bike ride that is coming up this Sunday [June 7th]. I’m sorry that some people feel that Jake has held the page “hostage” in trying to raise awareness for his ride. I also feel sorry for the person that feels we are stealing the money. My prayers go out to him. As everyone already knows all the services on puilloff.com are free to everyone, givers and non-givers. And all the expenses for the page are paid solely by Jake.
As a family, the Morgan’s have been touched by Diabetes in a most tragic way with the death of my daughter Kassidy in April 6th 2001 from complications from this dreaded disease. I guess that’s why we are so passionate about this fund raiser. It is also very encouraging to see the names that are on the list [below] that have taken the time to help Jake with his fundraiser. It's not all about the money, Jake and I have never looked at the amount that was donated by any individual, rather the fund raiser is a "team" effort. One dollar or 100 dollars makes the Thermometer keep going up to the "goal" for the drive. That's what makes the list below so heart warming. And for those that have not given for what ever reason I know that you also have a cause that is near and dear to your heart. I talked with Kathy Petro and she was telling me about a fund raiser that she and other pullers are involved in. I wish them the best in their efforts.
