John Deere 4020 Hot Farm Build

I recently picked up a 69 JD 4020 rolling chassis. Looking to build a hot farm. I have a 404T with an A pump out of a 4430. Is it worth building the 404 ? Or would i be money ahead building a JD466. I believe rules are 600ci max. Not looking to build a winner, I just want to break into the class on the cheaper side and do relatively well. Any information will be greatly appreciated. |

You would be money ahead building a 466 in my opinion, hi performance parts are easier to come by and less of a headache when you decide you want to build it up. With the 466 you can go many different ways with it too. |

What class are you building for? True hot farm or too hot to farm? As in a hot farm stock |
