4890 engine August 03, 2016 04:51AM
Does anyone know if an 11.0 L 4890 will bolt up to a 30 or 70 series rear end case tractor?

Yes. Make sure you get the rear engine plate, starter and flywheel with the engine. There are also better heads available for that engine. Some from truck applications that didn't utilize siamese ports.

Will the input shaft line up? Are the bell housings the same?

I will take some dimensional measurements later. I have a 4894 engine sitting on the floor in front of the tractor right now. PM me with your number and I will send you pictures of everything.
