Rules were simple, Pulls were more than happy to let you run, and lots of pinched fingers from throwing 5,000 lbs on so you could run again.

A blast from the past of the WNYTPA group..... You forgot to add a whole bunch of busted feet from dropping that 150 lb John Deere wheel weight. Did that only once. Or that 1977 IH 1700 Loadstar with a 404 gas engine that I had to take the sides off for hauling tractor and then have them back on to do wheat the next day, by myself. I did get real good at doing that with 2 crowbars......

I think in 1979 I went to 28 pulls with them and then in 1980 I went to 32 pulls with them. Then in 1981 Dad said.......stay home and work.....Smiling

Thanks for the memories.

I miss the days of the announcer butchering the likes of Tony Michalski, or Jim Liverpool.
