Is there a speed limit and RPM limit in the TO HOT TO Farm classes? |
Re: Retreat truck and tractor pull September 30 and october 1

For the 9000 it will be 3,000 Rpm 12 MPH
For 11,500 and 12,500 it will be 3,000 and 18 MPH |
Re: Retreat truck and tractor pull September 30 and october 1
|
WHY?
|
why are you running that 9000lb to hot to farm so slow? Southwest Wisconsin Pullers have been running those tractors at 16mph all summer |

That's a very good question, this is a rough idea of the speed limit, they may be changed at the drivers meeting that day, depends what everyone thinks. |

Sorry but we all made up our minds about coming to this pull when plum krazy started flapping his lips like he was in charge. These "hotter" antique classes should be ran at a little faster pace. That's my 2 cents worth. Maybe if things change next year we might show up. |

Would you be opposed to a 5500 super antique at 8mph instead of 5? |

Wow, what kind of a response is that to a question asked about a class not one tractor? Think I'll leave all mine at home , don't care to pull with that kind of attitude. I was only asking if speed limit could be raised. |

Wasn't just one tractor. 6 for sure in that class just backed out of coming because of your comment. Where do you get one tractor? A simple no would've been fine. My tractor will NEVER pull here if this is how it's ran.. Since when did it become an issue for someone to simply ask a question? The question wasn't asked rudely so I saw no need to answer so rudely. There's better pulls to go to ....enough said. |

Al is the guy you call about the Retreat pull his number is in the first post..
JD4000 is the young fellow that is helping out with the pull and takes care of the announcements here. My name is Ed and am the president of the club. If you want to step up a notch then call me at 608/675-3325 during the day, I don't have much to do with the pull but will listen to your complaint. Most the problems here are caused by one or two people that are sore at the club for their own reasons and want to spoil it for everyone else. If they can't have it no one else should. They are known to use a couple of different names on here to do this. Call Al or leave a message for JD4000 or call me. Ed. |

I was there last year, thought every thing was very good, promoter was very nice, ran the two tracks well and tractors all had good pulls, and some great home made cookies. A neat remote area and sweet hillside parking. |

Why??
|
I don't even pull around there. But I have a question if the gentleman talking trash about someone asking a question don't make the rules or prompt that pull why is he telling the other guy to get a life.. And what's the difference between improved and super antique. Looks like the same class except 1mph |

I think tires too on super. If you look at many posts, a lot of pullers seem to expect a class made to fit them, not the other way around.Just saying,I am thankful for a place to enjoy pulling, volunteers, promoters and sponsors all deserve a round of thank yous. |

Just wanted to clear the air about the guys in retreat that are putting the pull on. I spoke to both of them today and seem to be top notch guys. And hope that plum krazy can just keep his nose out of things he or she has no say about. And I hope that I can see if the guys that were going to come down and pull if they have settled down. So it sounds like AL is willing to put an 8mph pace in the super class.. Thanks again guys for being cooperative.. |
