Exhaust Wrap June 09, 2009 04:55AM
I have seen exhaust wrap around a number of Pro's and Super's.

Does anyone see this being benieficial on a Hot Farm or Pro Farm?

Thanks.

If you're getting under your turbo it may keep you on top. Probably more beneficial on headers than a cast manifold though.

If your air inlet is under the hood it could keep the under hood temps a little lower which will help some too.

Exhaust coating would be a much better way to go. I have a coating that is good for over 2000* F, and will help increase exhaust gas velocity. Thus reducing under hood temps while creating more hp and torque. Header coatings start at 100$ and go up. For a 6-cylinder coating plus the prep $175 for the outside or about $275 inside and out.
