Ford 5000 planetary's

I know there are two different ones that will fit a 5000 ford one is faster then then other but how much faster? Any help would be appreciated! |

You should be able to go to the Nebraska test results and find the mph for the models |

my old 555 backhoe would scoot right along in road gear... curious what ring and pinion was in those? |

I think Jim but they are in the smaller 4000 size rear end. When you put them in larger 5000-7000 they run on The back side of the teeth. But I could be wrong..... There are a few different ring and pinion combinations for the 5000-7000 |
