Oliver transmission

Live in n.w. pa. where would a good place be to go to have a transmission built for a 1650 that will handle 1000 hp ? |

Stock trans will handle that, just need to change your 2/5 set to give you another option. |

1000 hp will require custom gears. I've got a stack of toothless stock gears here to prove it.
If you can, use a 1750/1800/1850 rear end. Much stronger and many more gearing options. |

I'm also collecting an impressive collection of toothless 6th gears. I also would like like a gear over 6th and one between 5th and 6th. I think a 1850 rear would be too heavy as sometimes pull 6000lbs. |

Yes you would have trouble getting it to 6000 lbs running twin 478 Hercules engines but if you could run in something like the llss class were you can only run one engine you would be fine |

Sorry I didn't read that correctly I thought it said 1850 not 1650. Call Brad at Maibach Tractor, he will point you in all the right directions. |
