Stiff Steering Axle January 23, 2017 12:30AM
If we like the way a Component chassis flexes why do so many make the front axle on an AG chassis solid with no pivot like original. Wouldn't that under the right conditions cause a slight lift to the affected rear tire should the front wheel travel over a hump in the track? Just wondering?

The direction the chassis twists will generally make the right front tire contact the ground first, any weight taken off of the rear tires from chassis torque comes off of the left rear first , so this isn't really an issue if anything it may slightly help.
