Build a motor up to that cube, or are you meaning a bigger Waukesha engine al together, like a GK135?

Should be very easy to get 600. They do not have sleeves, pistons run right in the block. I need to get this one the rest of the way apart and get a estimate on wall thickness. probably 4.5-4.625 max bore. Are you running open rpm?

It would be for a 3000 rpm class. probalbly bore half inch and stroke an inch, maybe run a deck plate and use longer rods. would it be easy to hide with sideshields?

Got the head off one right now. Not too sure about getting it in a 88 frame. The bolt patten is about 3 inches longer and 1 1/2 wider. the head sucks just as bad as a 88 head, just bigger. I can just about hide in the combustion chamber, has 2.060 and 1.800 valves. 7 main block, if the model number has a B on the end of it they have a 6 counterweight crank. 3' rod journals and 3.250 mains, 4.375 bore, 5 inch stroke, 9.5 rod length. Parts availibilty sucks, but it should make over twice as much power as a 88 of the same cubic inch.

Not even close to stock looking. Everything is on the opposite side. Probably have to pull in an open or mod class.
