3 point yoke removal 4430

Need to remove the 3 point/drawbar yoke from under a 4430. Have the draft shaft out. There is a spring pin in the front attachment point. The parts book shows the spring pin, a bushing and the pin that holds the yoke in place. Does the spring pin go thru the bushing and pin? Can't drive it thru. There is no hole on the other side. How does it come apart? Thanks |

I always just use a air hammer and drive it through it will shear off roll pin and come on out. |

Thought about that. Do you support the far casting ear so not to break it off? Do you know what that piece weighs by chance? Thanks |

The roll pin just retains the bushing in A frame. Do, No need to mess with it. Pin is press fit in case only. It will drive out one direction easier than the other, Try moving it and you will figure it out, Use the heaviest hammer you can swing and a short punch that is almost the size of the pin and hit the SOB like you are serious and it will drive out. I never used a back-up hammer but not a bad precaution to take. Good Luck, DW |

Got it out with a big hammer and big short punch. This is an early tractor. No sign of the bushing and the spring pin was in the center of the pin. The parts website doesn't always agree with the early serial number products. Thanks guys |
