What the difference between the SSO (super stock open) class and the HSS (heavy superstock) class on the NTPA circuit

SSO is 650 CID, overhead cams, hemi heads, & intercoolers are legal. As I recall HSS limits the alkys to 505 CID & no OHC. I don't know about the hemi heads & intercooler. Basically HSS is designed for the smokers to be competitive while they can't keep up in SSO at this time.

HSS is 650 CI, no overhead cam , no hemi head, valves must be parallel to each other and with in 15 degrees of the cylinder. no intercoolers
