Tire sizing

Does anyone have a listing of the footprint of 38" tires and 34" tires? Trying to find out if a 20.8/34 is bigger than an 18.4/38 |

20.8x34 has 336 sq. inch and the 18.4x38 has a 340 sq. inch so not much difference at all. |

Tireguy,
Here is a listing of the sizing and footprint of the 18.4R38 Pro Puller Full Pull double cut tires that will be available very soon! I have taken the same calculation and applied it to the 20.8x34 widths. 20.8 R 34 Footprint at 22” of width 206 - 342.76 207 – 344.52 208 – 346.28 209 – 347.82 210 – 349.14 211 – 350.68 212 – 352.22 213 – 353.54 18.4 R 38 footprint at 19” of width 206 – 296.02 207 – 297.54 208 – 299.06 209 – 300.39 210 – 301.53 211 – 302.86 212 – 304.19 213 – 305.33 As you can see, the 20.8 has a significantly higher footprint when you compare the two. Please keep in mind, these calculations are based off of a full tread width tire with bars out to the edge. If you need calculations on tires with different circumferences or widths, please let me know and I would be happy to crunch some numbers for you. Feel free to talk directly with me at 402-840-0244 or email me at aaron@propullertires.com. I hope this helps, let me know if I can be of further assistance. Aaron Docter ProPullerTires.com |
