The 9th annual Smoke on the Hill Tractor Pull will be held Sunday September 10, 2pm at the Ogilvie Raceway. It will be a "Jam the Stands" Ethanol promotion event sponsored by East Central Corn Growers and Stearns County Corn Growers groups. Grandstand admission is free for the event thanks to the corn growers groups!

We will run the same classes as usual and you will able to hook 2 times if your vehicle fits the classes

Improved Farm 7000 and 9000 non-turbo, 10500, 12000, 16500
$125, $100, and $75

Open 7000, 8500, 9500, Semi
$250, $200, $150, $100, $50

Profarm 10000
$250, $200, $150, $100, $50

Hot Farm 11000 and 12000
$150, $125, $100

Road Semi
$125, $100, $75

REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 1:30pm So be early or Pre Register!!

The pull is fast approaching, only 10 days away! We have had an overwhelming push to add a 6200 open class so it is back on the list. We can make it 6500 if need be, just let us know. Payout will be as listed for the open class.

We will also have a drawing for entry fee in all open classes. 1 open class will be picked at the drivers meeting and that class will have all their entry fees paid! We will raise the payout $40 per place and every vehicle will get a paycheck for at least their entry fee.

6200 is fine with me. I know most of the other guys would like a 6200 also. I just want to be able to get everyone in the class in there safely.

Nate- Any change of trying a upm pull again? I know mother nature was not to kind to you in the past. I love the facility and would love to see more shows close to my home

I wouldn't rule it out. I almost had him talked into running a combination pull of Smoke on the Hill classes plus 3 or 4 UPM classes this year. I will work on him over winter and see. I know the UPM guys would like to try it again too.

We would keep some open classes, a hot farm class and a couple farm stock classes. There would be a place for you Tom.

Just wanted to thank everyone involved with the pull yesterday! It was awesome! Lots of tractors and a great crowd. I especially want to thank the East Central Corn Growers and Stearns County Corn Growers for paying the admission for all the spectators yesterday!!

We had the most open tractors we've ever had yesterday. Thank you guys for bring them out we really hope to see you again next year!! The 10000 hobby/Profarm was the class drawn for the free entry, it turned out to be very fitting since we caught a shower in the middle of the class and had to start them over. Thanks to all that stuck around through the rain delay. I'm looking forward to next year already!!

Just wanted to follow up with what Nate had to say. Thanks to everyone for coming out. Everything went pretty smooth and the minor issues we had were easily fixed. Thank you guys for being 1 of the easier groups of pullers to deal with so far! Let us know if there's anything we can do to make it better.
