Cubic inch?? September 19, 2017 01:00AM
540 cubic inch vs 504 cubic inch on a case open rpm. Is the extra 36 cubic inch worth the 3000$ for new Pistons and the boring of the liners?? Thx in advance

Phone Haug's Salvage Yard, Centralia, Kansas.
They pull a pair of successful big alky LSS's.
They are a big Case salvage yard, knowing their facts.
Likely be a great source to help you.

"Jonesy" at Berrien Springs, Michigan likely would too as has experience with Case Pro Stock and now built and competes with his very succesful Case in the 510 cube Indiana Pulling League Hot Farm class.

Go 4-3/4 bore stock stroke. That will put you at 531 and pistons that are sitting on several builders shelves.
