Well, Brandon, I think that is your ballpark to now phone the suggested chassis builders and discuss specs with them.
While you are at it, call Bob Barbee at Full Pull Motorsports at Springfield, Tennessee as he does excellent work from parts to turnkey and everything in between. And so does Kevin Campbell at Chaos Fabrication who you will find his response and contact info in a few threads down, entitled "3 or 4 turbo setup". However, you can go buy a top running and winning Case diesel LLSS "American Beauty" from Larry and Donna Wright at Richmond, KY. You can see its double win at 2017 Armada, MI Northern Series LLSS pull on my website. www.DaveDannPhotos.com |

There are several turn key LLSSs and several project LLSSs listed for sale. Imagine $20-$30k would get you a pretty good start with one of those. But if you are wanting to build one go for it and have fun. On a side note, I am an Ace chassis fan if you go that route. Good luck |

Might be surprised how much work goes into some of these LLSS rearends and transmissions. |

Got a 180 AC sitting here with aluminum rims, aluminum sheet metal, 2 bar certified cage, custom gear, w/ choice of twin charger diesel or alky engines. $8000 for it. You can be in the track for under $10k if you're thrifty enough. |

Dont do it, it's a trick. You'll end up coming home with three chassis, 2 motors, 4 sets of tires, a gator, a trailer, and a hood for a 4020 (and you dont have a 4020)! #tractorpimp |

I found you can by chassis with transmission and rear end all done cheaper than you can build one. LLSS is tough class speed your money on the motor. Good luck. It is a fun class to pull. |

There is no for say parts list out there, everybodies set up is different. If you are familiar with both you should have general idea on parts. But if you need a parts list you should insider buying a turn key until you get aquatinted with the class. Eric Prewitt The Prewitt Pulling Team Public Relations for The Pulling Radio Network |
Re: Chassis

Correct.
|
There is no "list" many different options. Its not like building a cummins or other road driven pickup. You can't order from summit racing or the like. I'm all for new ppl joining the pulling world but sounds like you need to walk the pits, ask question, get on the phone, make some calls. |
Re: Chassis

If you can build every thing except chases, you should be able to build it. Go look at some and get started. MACK |
