Anyone have experience in changing gears in an 8-speed Massey transmission?
I have talked to a few people and seems like most just change the high/low gearsets in the rearend but my concern is that there is a 11% or 13% difference in 3rd to 4th and I would more like a 5% or 7% jump....
Talk to John Jones at Odon Machine & Manufacturing in Odon Indiana. He has a lot of knowledge of how to change the gearing in Massey's, and not cost you an arm and leg. He pulled an 1155 for years and probably built it cheaper than just about anyone.
