USA pros vs Euro Pros rules December 24, 2017 03:34AM
Curious if the 2 Euro Pro Stocks(Rocky & Extreme Temptation) have to change anything to pull with our guys @ Gordyville & Farm Show? Are there pro rules similar to ours? Thanks!!

They are actually well below most of our limits engine and weight wise. They share the same rules fuel and air wise. But are limited to 510 cubes and I believe they also are limited to an oem head. They also run at a considerably lighter weight at I think 7700lbs.

I would say the have a special engine for the trip

That would be a pretty significant expense to have a separate motor just to run twice I would think

if you are running a competitive national level pro, I doubt money being your big downfall, however I would like to see a 680 sisu motor at full tilt.

510 cubic inch, oem cylinder head, 7700lb.

They do not have 680 cube motors for the trip to the USA. I think they are going to weight them up to run with the American Pros but other than that they will be very much Euro spec Prostocks.

They should run light pro. But they run intercoolers, I think.

They are both component and run sigmas and intercoolers. Light pro is the closest match in terms of rules.

going fromm 7700 to 10.000 would need a huge gearing change.theyll be underpowered terribly ,but I'm sure they made a gearing change and made test hooks....

They will be pulling with the light pros so it should be a pretty close match. The chassis will be the only real difference. They will only have to add a 1000 lbs so I wouldn't think there would be much for changes to be made
