IH rockshaft delete plugs

can anyone give me some help on removing the O-Ring seal on a 1066 bottom rockshaft? it appears it needs to come out before you install the freeze plug, what are the tricks to getting these out?

Take a piece of flat stock, weld it across the seal and poke it out from the other side |

Does anyone know where to get the frost plugs for the lower shaft in the rear end housing? Haven't had luck finding any that size. |

What's the part number for a 706 housing? My dealer didn't find anything for it. |

The plugs are still available at a CaseIH dealer |

They are listed under the rear housing if memory serves correctly, not with
3 point. |
