Fire rings v.s. C- rings April 03, 2018 02:28AM
Looking for some help / input. We used to run solid fire rings in top of sleeve. We later changed to c- rings as h. P. Increased. I only ever have luck with the c rings sealing up when they are brand new and maybe a time after that. Then when we have the head off again we put another new set of c- rings in at 600 and some bucks. Thinking of trying the solid fire rings again. They are a one time use I know but are way cheaper. Anyone have any experience with one v. S. Other?? We make 115-120 psi of boost . Any thoughts appreciated.
