Can an oil pan gasket be used on the oil pan when a girdle is used? I’d imagine there would be some re torquing of pan bolts necessary? Tired of silicone! |

Yes you can. It also depends on how someone setup the girdle vs the pan rail. Is it aprox zero crush at the rail or is there a gap and the bolts pull it down to the rail? If zero gap, you wont have any issue with the gasket on the bottom side. Could also oring the girdle to eliminate the silicon |

I believe when we set this one up we had .003-.004 crush on the blocks. |
