Ogilvie Raceway Tractor Pull September 8, 2018 6pm Ogilvie, MN August 20, 2018 11:39PM
Ogilvie Raceway's annual Smoke on the Hill tractor pull will be Saturday September 8th at 6 pm. It will be at Ogilvie Raceway, located on Highway 23 east of Ogilvie.

Things are changed up a little bit for this year. We dropped a few classes and added 4 UPM classes for the evening. We will run 4 of the our brush pull classes and then run the UPM. After the UPM group is done we will finish the night with the open classes.

Here are the classes that will run:

Stock Diesel Pickups
12,000 Farm
16,500 Farm
12,000 Hot Farm (can be changed to 13,000 if need be)
7,000 Open
9,000 Open
10,000 Hobby/Profarm

If your tractor fits in 2 classes you are welcome to hook 2 times.

UPM classes will be:

Profarm
Super Farm
Limited Pro
SSFWD

If you have any questions you can contact me at the Raceway, email me, or call me at 763-267-4572.

Any change of adding a lighter open class such as 6200 or 6500. Thanks in advance for your help.

There will be 7000 open that could possibly be made lighter if it helps draw more tractors. You can pull 7000 can't you? In the past the tractors in the light classes have always ran better in the 7000 open class because they can't get enough front weight at 6500

Nate I will run 7000 lbs. but the reason for asking of a lighter class is so we can hook twice. With the current class list I would only be able to hook once. Thanks for putting the pull on. Planning on being there. Tom

Probably not anymore this year. Get me your contact info and maybe we can work it in next year. How many do you know that would come?

I can think of 4 SSDFWD (NTPA/PPL GN Level) within 90 minutes that would come as well as possibly 1-2 more. If it's an open class you will also get some hot street trucks and some Prostocks and Limited Pros that would come too. Maybe 7-8 as a minimum and 12 or so maximum. It's a great track so that'll help bring the trucks out.
