Running a JD 466 at 3500 rpms 600cc fuel 2.8 charger and data logger says injection is only on for 16 seconds during run. Have one nozzle in the intake pipe. So what's a good ball park amount of water ? |

You need to document the max egt down the track. Ideal egt is 1300, my 456 i run 42 ounces with 3 nozzles to keep it cool sith a 3x3 but i only run 540 cc. 1 nozzle for sure will not ne enough. Dont go crazy with timing either, the 456 doesnt care for huge timing ussually right between 30 and 35 degrees depending on the set up |

wondering as well

Is it better to run less fuel & more water or the other way around from anyone's past experience. We've been around 45-50 oz on a similar setup on an IH and about 750 on fuel. Looking to try something a little different one way or the other. |

Generally more fuel cools it down so less water is needed. But less fuel makes more power but the sode affect is they run hotter. So more water injection is needed.trial and error or a dyno is best to get it right. |
