John Deere 865M vs Kubota 1100 rtv October 30, 2018 12:32PM
I’m looking into buying a new pit vehicle and was wanting to know any positive and negative experiences that people have had on the Gator 865m and the Kubota 1100. It will be pushing/pulling an 8500 light pro stock. A lot of venues we go to have some slight to moderate grades in the pits made up of anything from grass to dirt to gravel. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

We have a Kubota and love it. It will be used for loading the super and antique. We have also used it for loading a 7040 AC farm tractor, trucks, and cars. It has done all we want it to do.

Used a kubota for the first time this season. Never missed a beat. Never had an issue with traction pulling the 8500 light pro around. And it’s a plus having ac on the really hot days. Another puller in our club drug the tractor up the ramp and in the semi trailer with his last season when the engine went down. Really impressed me.

I have an 1120 bota.. you will love the full hydro tans. basically a tractor with its abilities! has a 2" receiver front and back too! no comparison between the 2

Thanks for the input guys. Seems everyone really likes the Kubota. I’ve looked at them before and really like the way Stones equipment in Indiana sets them up with the pull/push bars, front weight brackets and the Cepeck tires.

Thank You for recommending our company when discussing the Kubota RTV 1100, also if anyone is interesting in purchasing an RTV 1100 we have a used model in for sale that is set-up to move around pulling tractors.
