John Deere sleeves will get you to 362 easily and cheap. Bigger is going to cost a bit more. |

About 400. Enough for speed limit classes. The tractors winning the class now are around 350 to 400. What Deere sleeves and pistons are people using Robert? I had also heard that stock rods aren't good to hold much power. If you still use the stock rods with the Deere pistons and sleeves, are the stock rods strong enough to use? Edited 1 time(s). We used any jd 404 sleeve. Bored the block and put the lip at the bottom to support it and cut the top of the sleeve off we ran alcohol 90lbs boost for years. |

We have put 125 lbs of boost to stock (hardened) rods with good bolts and no issues. |

On a budget 362 be the biggest. 383 would be the next to most reliable then 405 with out stroking crank and 414 would be absolute biggest with a stroked crank. If you don’t want a garage pet 383 be it |
