What was the first alcohol super stock (or forerunner of a super stock)? Was anyone in the late 60s running alcohol?

When did the first minis appear? I've seen point standings for as far back as 73 or 74, but I assume they had been around before that.

I highly doubt this can be answered,back in that time there were thousands of yrs that could be called ss,probably a 50-50 split on gas and dsl,I'd think it would have been a 5000 lbs tr or a mm based on they already had plugs and ign

First was the gas SS StocKS then alcohol was played with through carbs .When was alcohol allowed as a fuel propane gas and diesel was first engines ran on the fuel they were made for
