I made one out of a race car weight clamp and a 1/2” bolt with the head cut off and bent at a 90. Cost me about $7.

A $1.50 muffler camp. A $2.00 coat hook. A little injunuity and 50 cents worth of paint. Can’t see it or a $30 to $50 one from the grand stand.

Wow.....it sure is nice to see some really take some pride in appearance. I don't know why this sport will never be mainstream with the general public, Lol! Eye Rolling

I think the title says it all "Where to get a nice helmet hook". Read it a few times. It doesn't say "where to get a cheap a$$ hillbilly fix".

Liten up bioz,we will unfrozen brains soon,pulling will start,farming will be mainstream,tulips will bloom and tractors will be eagerly making dust on the track and off. Just let the negative,(sometimes fun remarks) be like water on a duck's back.

The one I made looks just fine, even from 3” away, thank you very much. Everybody wants to complain about the cost of pulling, then go blow money on billet aluminum helmet hooks that cost 5X what you could make one for. It’s a helmet holder, not a crankshaft.

Thanks for all the good advise, I ordered two of them from Paulson Performance.. PS I tried to make them out of bailer twine and a used condom. But it was not stiff enough to hold my helmet up. Hot

You are assuming Thai I complain about the cost of pulling. I assure you I do not. I have fabricated almost every structural piece on my puller. There are some tools that I do not have, those bits I buy. But just as I wear nice clothing when I go to town or wax my car, just as I paint with the best I can afford, I will build my toys the way I want them . Again MY TOYS,

That sounded too good to be true.......and it was. There doesn’t appear to be any for 2” round. They are all smaller than that.

That looks nice. Doesn’t take much to hold a helmet. Depends on your expectations. And check your cage tubing with a caliper. A lot of them measure 1 7/8”. Not 2”.
