I know this has probably been on here before but I’m just wondering what is involved in putting a 400 series in a 706 gas. Will in bolt right up or is there a lot of fabrication work (hood frame etc) thanks for any help

From what I've seen, everyone seems to do it a little differently, so there's several ways to go about it. I've seen guys lengthen the hoods a lot, and I've seen guys shove a 466 in there while leaving the hoods alone! Some guys use the original 06 series framerails, others use the 66/86 series framerails. There's really no right or wrong way to do it, but some do look a lot cleaner than others. Any way you go about it will take some form of modifying
