Data logger question August 26, 2019 06:22PM
Is there a good data logger available that is good and tough and affordable?

Re: Data logger question August 27, 2019 02:41AM
RPM

Re: Data logger question August 27, 2019 01:00PM
We have an RPM and like it. The people are great to work with too.

Directly from RPM?

Re: Data logger question August 27, 2019 03:03PM
I can help with your data recorder questions. I am a dealer for Randy at RPM Performance and have been since 1995, can help with install, or do it for you.

Available almost 24/7 for help and sell for the same price as direct from RPM.

Our business is almost 100% pulling tractors so I've seen and sold for about every combination. Call with any questions you might have and I'll be glad to try to answer them..

If you want service after the sale, Corsa isn’t the way to go. Had a buddy get one company installed but then couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone when he had a question.. Not to mention it never worked correctly out of the box. Such a waste of money!

Re: Data logger question August 29, 2019 02:28PM
We run a Corsa system on a single charger diesel truck and have found Cody to be very helpful & informative. Usually easier to get in contact with him through text instead of calling. Overall it has been a good product with good support behind it.

Todd Paton at Performance Data Systems is who I would get a hold of. He is more knowledgeable than anyone in the data logger industry. And he is actually willing to answer the phone to help you. Several guys I know have taken their Corsa systems off and put them in the corner.

"more knowledgeable than ANYONE?" hmmmmmmmm

Re: Data logger question August 31, 2019 01:58AM
I use an Arduino board with a SD card since 4 year, 4read per second. It’s around 20$+sensors you need and couple hours of programming.

Re: Data logger question August 31, 2019 02:05AM
Redguy_66, which board did you use and how many inputs? I am looking to go down the same path and wasn't sure which board I was going to use because of all the information I was wanting to record.

Re: Data logger question August 31, 2019 04:00AM
RedGuy_66 - do you have any contact info? I would like to ask some questions.

C A Downs - Arduino Mega 2650 would be my guess as it is the most powerful and not much money.

Re: Data logger question August 31, 2019 12:03PM
I use Uno model, 6 analog input. Mega 2650 is way more complicated to use with the sd board.

Redguy_66 - I'd like to learn more about how you used the Arduino. I was looking into this recently and happened to stumble on to your comment in this thread.

Re: Data logger question August 31, 2019 11:27AM
If you want a good data system, get a CORSA.

Re: Data logger question September 09, 2019 07:12AM
Do you need individual exhaust temp on a tractor with no water injection? Im thinking of just 1 exhaust temp probe. Going on a hot farm no water or intercooler.

I have heard nothing but great things about Corsa. Cody's very knowledgeable about the product and is very willing to help out in any way he can. Lots of pullers are making the switch from Racepak and RPM to Corsa due to the customer service and high quality of the product.

Re: Data logger question September 11, 2019 12:12PM
Im gonna have to say NO on jumping away from RPM They have INCREDIBLE customer service and Ive been able to get in touch over weekends or evenings with questions or anything. PLUS they are user friendly and inexpensive compared to anything out there.

We need a new tablet for our Corsa data logger. Any advice on where I can get one?
