Anyone ever take a die grinder and modify a case 504 exhaust manifold? What did you do? 3000rpm 2.6 turbo.

I have also been told there too big already. I was thinking about making one out of round 2id pipe. It would reduce static air drag an is 21percent smaller volume but still maintain same flow. But i havent figured out how to transition from square to round at the port yet. Thinking of making inserts for the head. Will be time consuming an havent had the time yet.
