Just had my original starter converted to a high torque at a shop that rebuilds them and it works great.

We are just now releasing our direct bolt on, high torque, gear reduction starter for the IH tractors. They will fit a completely stock tractor clear to a full pulling tractor. They have a clockable mount that you can move the solenoid/motor to the position that best fits your needs. They also weigh in at very light 16.4 lb compared to the factory 53lb. At $595 they are pricey because of the time and resources invested in a direct bolt on reverse rotation high torque unit. Call to reserve one as the first few are coming off the bench. $595 shipped. Call Joe at 724-219-7138. Thanks
