If your deciding factor of going to a pull is payouts or no payouts sounds like you need to give it up, or finance some more stuff to keep pulling I guess.... |

Let me know when you build a 30k plus tractor and only pay to put on a show and get no payout. No one wants to go put on a show for someone else to make money on at your expense. Not saying we only care about making money but im not going to just go pull at my expense for nothing. |

Improved Farm 11000 Improved Farm 11500 ProFarm 9500 ProFarm 10000 1st - $50 + Plaque 2nd - $25 + Plaque 3rd - Plaque All Other Classes will get plaques for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Here's just some of the FFA activities that we partially or fully funded for the Luck FFA in the last year: National FFA Convention, State FFA Convention, Leadership Conference for Section 1 & 2 FFA chapters, Washington Leadership Conference, FFA jackets & t-shirts, greenhouse hydroponics system, and classroom supplies. We appreciate both the pullers and spectators support throughout the years. |

Tractor General Rules
Be Professional. Pullers must be 18 years of age or older to participate. Minors must have parent or guardian consent forms signed and tractor safety course completed. No one younger than 18 years of age will be allowed to pull outside of the farm stock classes. No one younger than 12 years of age will be allowed to pull. Drawbar must exceed at least 18 inches from the center of the rear axle. One fuel type only. Alcohol may be used as fuel in open classes only. Operator must remain seated and drive in a safe manner. Tractors must operate in a safe manner at all times. No chain jerking or hot-rodding allowed. All tractors must be in neutral or park when being hooked or unhooked from the sled. “Hands up” signal by the driver will be used to indicate this is being followed. Tractor must remain within the boundaries of the track. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. Loss of any weight or part of the tractor while pulling will be grounds for disqualification. All pull must start with a tight chain and be straight in line with the sled. All drivers pull at their own risk. Luck FFA Alumni shall not be held responsible for any accident, injuries, or damage to equipment. Class pulling order and drivers order will be posted. All tractors must scale prior to hooking to sled, immediately prior to the start of your class. Once weighed, you are staged. Leaving the staging area is not allowed. Tractors will be stopped if front wheels are more than 24” off of the ground. No beer or alcohol is to be consumed for contestants. Track officials have the right to move a puller to a different class. The first puller has no option of a re-hook. Only chance to re-hook is if the sled has adjustments made to it. If a puller stops before the 100-foot mark, they can re-hook for 1 attempt. If they stop after the 100-foot mark, they cannot re-hook in the class. In speed limit classes, puller will be given 1 chance to adjust speed after reaching speed limit. If it is broken a 2nd time, it will result in a disqualification. Violations of any rules shall constitute a disqualification. Arguing with judges will not be tolerated and will result in immediate disqualification. No weights are allowed on 3-points. All general rules apply, unless class specific. Must be a puller in the same class to raise an issue about another puller. All judges’ decisions are final. Failure to obey track officials will result in disqualification and may lead to removal from event. Farm Stock Rules General rules apply, along with class specific rules. Must have stock appearing engine from oil pan to valve cover to manifolds including injector pumps and factory carburetors for that tractor’s make and model. Must have stock appearing frame, front end, rear end, transmission, and axle housing. Must have working PTO unless factory without. Water injection not allowed. Fuel source must be factory to make and model. Factory turbo only RPM limit is 10% over factory rating. No grace weight. Must have 4 tires on tractor except unicycle tractors. No cut tires. Speed Limits for Farm Stock 3500; 4500; 5500 - 4 m.p.h. 7000; 9000 - 6 m.p.h. 10500; 13000; 15000 - 8 m.p.h. Improved Farm Stock Rules General rules apply, along with class specific rules. 2.8” turbo allowed. A pump allowed. 3000 RPM limit. 200 pound grace weight. Top cut tires are allowed. No fully cut tires. No speed limits. Pro Farm Rules All general rules apply, along with class specific rules. 3” turbo allowed. Roll bar or roll cage is required. If tractor has roll cage, a 5 point harness is required, otherwise seatbelt is adequate. SFI approved helmet required. Steel flywheel and SFI approved scatter blanket required. Wheelie bars and a cable operated air shut off at the rear of the tractor mounted in the middle required. Must have side shields if running a belt-driven fan. Water injection is allowed. No Slots or slug turbo. Truck General Rules Be Professional. Must have truck registered before class starts. Pullers must be 18 years of age or older to participate. Drivers must wear a seatbelt or restraint system. No passengers allowed. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. Operator must remain seated and drive in a safe manner. Truck must operate in a safe manner at all times. No chain jerking or hot-rodding allowed. Must have hood, fenders, doors, windshield and rear window. No hanging weights allowed, bed of truck or cab only. Gasoline fuel only, no injectables. No hood stacks, must have exhaust system with muffler(s) 3" diameter max. Trucks must be street legal and registered. Lift kits allowed but no solid or blocked suspension. Improved Stock Gas - 5700, 6200 General rules apply along with class specific rules. Must have hood, fenders, doors, windshield and rear window. Factory cast (OEM) heads only. Wheelbase must not be altered from factory. If you do not have rear bumper, you must have bump stops. Slipper clutches and stall converters are allowed. Must run 4150 flange carburetor or smaller. 8500 Improved Diesel General rules apply, along with class specific rules. Must have hood, fenders, doors, windshield, and rear window. No hanging weights allowed, bed of truck or cab only. Diesel fuel only, no injectables (NOS, water/meth, propane). No ladder bars or track bars. Stock single turbocharger (unless factory equipped i.e. 6.4 Powerstroke). Use of a single tuner allowed. No lift pumps allowed. No hood stacks. Max tire height is the DOT approved 35” tire. Air bags allowed but cannot be inflated. No suspension stops/blocks. Trucks must be street legal and registered. Aftermarket intake is permitted. Stock fuel systems, no oversize injectors, cp3 HPOP. 8500 Open Diesel General rules apply, along with class specific rules. Trucks are highly recommended to have a fuel/air shutoff and drive shaft loops. 35-18.00-15 Bar and Cut tires permitted. A fire extinguisher system is permitted and highly recommended. OEM firewall is mandatory. The complete OEM floor plan is mandatory. The body must be an OEM truck body. The body must retain full sheet metal, aftermarket hoods are permitted. The hood must be closed and securely latched while vehicle is hooked to the sled. DOT approved helmet required to be worn while pulling. All open class trucks must have SFI approved bell housing on clutch, SFI approved shield on transmission body, SFI flex plate, SFI approved damper, SFI fire extinguisher mounted within reach of drive and SFI approved fire jacket. |
