There’s a new Holiday Inn express in Rantoul which is pretty close. We typically drive to Champaign / Urbana and stay at the Hampton Inn which is reasonably priced and includes breakfast. If you like to drink and carry on, sit on the west side of the track or if that’s not your thing, the east side is for you. Dress for the weather and enjoy the show, you won’t be disappointed.

Drury inn in Champaign is also nice, buy your tickets when you get there, go to the back of the building there is a pit entrance and you can buy a weekend long pit pass

With the way this fall is going(COLD), who knows. It might be 70 degrees outside by the time Gordyville arrives. It's Illinois! The weather can change here in a matter of minutes. Bring lighter clothes with you just in case it does.

was there when it was in the 30's with snow, when it was 40 to 50 with mud and when it was -2 with ice and froze, be prepared
