Junk the natural gas pistons along with the stock diesel pistons get pistons and rods made The pistons burn and the rods bend also the head sucks until you do a lot of work.I can port two dt 360 heads in the time it takes to do one cummins |

What
|
240 that's like almost stock ??? I heard 270 -300 is what you want it, more air more power ! |
Re: LLSS cummins question

WHAT???
|
Are you getting 300 cfm out of a B-series Cummins on your flow bench? Should probably post your contact info so the man can call you. You are clearly the more qualified man for the job. I mean some of us struggle to get a QUALITY 300 cfm out of a 400 series head. |

A 5.9 is not even close to 270 stock to get that the head has to be filled and ground through bigger is not better ive done several thats been to the dyno with different heads . Diesel trucks with the smaller turbos run better with a stock HEAD that flows around 160 than one worked over .Dont know if that second what question was for me or not but my 7 out of 10 figure it out for youself get last years results and givem a call and the year befor horse park and Gordyville |

Cfm is not always the holy grail. I'm sure Lewis will remember the old hyper plumbing on the small cube 3&4 charger set ups. Air speed and balance is just as important |
